Dishonest Billing Practices & Poor Quality Work!
I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with 6ix Eglinton. They billed my insurance for a “comprehensive check-up” service that I never received. Since my insurance is pretty good and covers 100%, I didn’t see what was charged. I only learned about this because when I wanted to go to another dentist for a comprehensive exam, they told me that this couldn’t be performed since it can only be done once in 2 years and was already claimed by 6ix Eglinton last year. This serious breach of trust raises major concerns about their billing practices.
Additionally, they created a night guard for me that is so poorly made that I can’t even wear it. Despite over 10 visits to try to fix it, it still doesn’t fit properly and causes discomfort. Every time I sleep with it, I wake up to several teeth hurting with a throbbing sensation.
Above all, I’ve reached out to them to find a resolution and they’ve denied their fraudelent billings so I’ve had to raise a complaint with my insurance. But regardles, as a result, I’m in a tricky situation and can’t use my benefits because of this.
I urge you to find a different dentist. 6ix Eglinton lacks both integrity and the ability to provide quality dental care.
Tried to get an appointment for me and my wife (one appointment after the other for obvious reasons) but the receptionist (named R?) kept giving half baked replies like ummm aaa…no..we don’t have any slots…I asked her if they have anything next week and I was told there’s nothing for a long long time. Then when I cancelled my single appointment, magically, another adjacent slot opened up! wow! best part is, management doesn’t even know how much business they must have lost thanks to this receptionist. Maybe the receptionist was just racist hearing my Indian accent? I guess we’ll never know!
PS – Never got a chance to experience their services.
extremely clean and modern dental clinic in the heart of Yonge and Eg. my hygienist, Liz, was phenomenal and super lovely to chat with. she did an absolute job and you can tell how skilled she is! Hezekiah and Kaylee were also so kind to me so I want to relay my thanks. Dr. Sobhi did a great job on my teeth, gave me advice on my grinding concerns, and also ultrasonic cleaned my retainers, how lovely! thank you to the 6ix team 🙂
