The thought, the very thought of going to a dentist sends shutters down a person’s spine, and one remembers the old days as a child and going to the “murder clinic”, well we had to put up with this we had no choice, but once you’re an adult you’ve got to take matters into your own hands.

I have been very fortunate to have had good dentists, and good teeth over the years. However, my last dentist passed away some 10 years ago and I have not been to a dentist since.

Over recent months I have felt pain in my top Molar and kept putting off going to visit a dentist however it got to the stage where I had no alternative but to seek help from a dentist.

I went down to Hutt Dental Hub, and I was given an emergency appointment for me to see the dentist .

I saw a most wonderful man a Doctor Byron Park who was the Dentist and the technology that he has now compared with what it used to be is amazing. Byron looked at my tooth that was causing the issue and the images came up on a monitor. He showed me the problem and said “Well you’ve got a problem here it’s touching the sinus and there is no other alternative but your tooth must come out”.” I said go ahead, do it.

he proceeded in numbing the area around my tooth, put in an injection. I FELT NOTHING. his assistant asked would I like to listen to some music while the dentist did his task I said yes please. I’d like to listen some Chopin Nocturnes. Not a problem. So, I laid back and listened to the beautiful melodies of Chopin’. Bryon the Dentist worked away, and it seemed only a minute or two is it was all done. It was all over

The fear of my going to a dentist is gone forever. I will never fear again going to a dentist.

Dental technologies have changed , and changed for the better, and without hesitation I would go to a dentist again when required.

I really can’t rave enough about the exceptional standard of care and top quality customer service that Hutt Dental Hub provides. My 10-year-old son was referred to Dr Mohammad Alansary two years ago after an unfortunate scooter incident where his 2 front adult teeth were badly damaged. There was no paediatric dentist available in Hawke’s Bay where we live so we were told we had to travel to Lower Hutt to save his smile. We have been back 3 more times over the last 2 years and I can tell you that the travel has been well worth it every time. Aside from being highly skilled and knowledgeable in paediatric dentistry, Mohammad is so kind and warm and with a special talent of making kids immediately feel calm, relaxed and safe. He saved my son’s smile and self-confidence, and also changed his mindset about dental experiences to a very positive one. The whole team there are outstanding. All the dental assistants are lovely, smiley, and super professional. And the lead administrator, Sohaimy, is a customer service superstar who has gone out of his way to help me arrange financial assistance through ACC and MSD, and also schedule appointments that allow for our travel. Thank you Hutt Dental!!

While the staff here are all friendly and accommodating, it’s all a guise while they rip you off behind your back. All their pricing is blown up to over double what it should be for the exact same work else where. Praying on the vulnerable. Completely disgusting buisness ethics. Be sure to get quotes else where before wasting your hard earned money here. Check other area such as out Kapiti/Paraparaumu; for the price of a train ride or short car trip will save you thousands. . . .
