Reviews:
I’ve got to wait some time in order to get my initial appointment with the hygienist, however I do have a tooth that needs a crown and was quickly granted an appointment within several days. That first visit went very well.
The office is clean and nicely decorated. My wait time was minimal relative to my appointment. They took me to the exam and treatment chair right on time.
Front desk staff are all very courteous. My assessment by the dental assistant and Dr. Hamouri went very well. All very modern equipment. I am scheduled 3 weeks from now to get my crown.
They took my insurance information and based on my benefits, provided me a written estimate of what my services would cost without insurance, with insurance, and with insurance: what the insurance will pay and what my out-of-pocket is. They provided me a written copy of the services they recommend. We’ll see how it goes.
It was all very courteous and professional.
So far so good. I recommend this practice so far.
I called this morning to ask a question regarding a medication Rx. The office manager, who I assume sets the tone for the office, was particularly rude. She stated (her words) “We are short-staffed.” The manager even went as far as to use the word “bombarded,” which was quite off-putting.
Given this experience, I would caution anyone looking for a pleasant dental visit to consider other options. While the hygienist was fantastic, the overall atmosphere created by the office staff, especially the manager, was rude and unprofessional. It’s unfortunate because good dental care involves not just the technical skills but also the customer service aspect, which was sorely lacking here.
No one even spoke to me, despite the fact that I was in the waiting room for the entire hour. Communication is definitely lacking, and it has nothing to do with being understaffed.
