Ideal Dental Chastain Park is very clean. The dentists and dentist assistants are top tier, always friendly. They use very high-tech modern equipment and are very detail oriented. I’ve come here for about two years now, and I’ve had a good experience every time. They tell you exactly what procedures need to be done and what they recommend, breaking down the costs before you even begin! So no surprises at the end of the visit. I will be coming here for the foreseeable future probably.

They accept delta dental, which is my dental insurance, but if you don’t have dental insurance, they do offer an Ideal Dental Plan that is very good value.

I had a billing/communication issue with them where they thought I wanted to be refunded for the Ideal Dental Plan, when I just wanted to cancel the renewal of the plan. They ended up refunding me, but allowed me to still keep the discounted rate. Very generous of them, allowing me to get the best of both worlds due to the communication error. Would recommend!

New patient visit, got referred by my dental insurance. First the staff was very nice, the office was nice and clean, albeit empty of patients the entire time I was there. I had a full set of x rays done then saw the doctor and in minutes, she gave me a treatment plan, most of which was not covered by my insurance. I requested to just have done what my insurance would cover. No pushback from the staff but the cleaning I ended up receiving was not thorough or complete (comparing to my last, out of state dentist and staff, who were amazing). The positives are I was able to make an appointment quickly and got an exam, cleaning, and a filling done in the same day. Negatives-Not a fan of the upselling techniques, the poor cleaning of my teeth, and the numbing of my entire mouth which seemed unnecessary for the work done.

I have made Ideal Dental my primary dental provider and I’m glad that I did. I visited for the first time today and was greeted warmly by Natasha the office manager and she was great going over my insurance contributions and payment options. The dental staff was great in getting my X-rays and explaining the treatment plan that was right for me. The location of the office is in an ideal location on Roswell road right next to Fresh Market. I highly recommend Ideal if you’re looking for a dental provider in network!
