5 stars for Justin, who was friendly and great. 1 star for everything else. I came in for a new patient exam and it took almost 1.5 hours. Between the x-rays and a quick peek into my mouth most of it was wait time and the discussion of the “Financial Agreement” that was produced while I was waiting. The x-rays showed a cavity but Dr. Mendoza didn’t even do the filling – another appointment needed. The Financial Agreement sounded more like a sales pitch – donate money here and save on your bill. Your insurance won’t cover this but you’re getting a great rate. All the while I was wondering why they are letting me leave with a cavity when I’m already there. A $120 filling is probably nowhere near as sexy as all the other items on the 4-pager. I tried to get a regular cleaning scheduled instead of the $800 one they wanted to do and ended up on hold for over 5 minutes until I gave up. When they called back a day later they said they wouldn’t do a regular cleaning because the treatment plan said otherwise.
So $800 or find a new dentist who will do a regular cleaning? Gladly.
Dr.Tran and his assistant Layana did an amazing job! I was having tooth issues and they were able to get me in same day to ease my pain. Same day crowns are the way to go! I highly recommend there approach of in office crown builds! Perfect Color, shape, fit all done within an hour at their office! There secretaries did an amazing job helping answer all my questions and figured out insurance policies with the little info I was able to provide. Looking for a dentist- CHOOSE MENIFEE SMILES! Dr.Tran and his team are so professional and welcoming! Couldn’t recommend them more!!
I was treated with respect throughout my visit. The technician taking x-rays explained carefully what she needed me to do so she could get good pictures. Dr. Tran was clear and concise, didn’t talk down to me, as he told me what was wrong and what the treatments would be to fix my teeth. Brianna gave me the estimates of cost, and even went out of her way to find solutions to the financing that would fit my budget. I’m glad I chose Menifee Smiles on Haun Rd for my current dental work!
