We were patients with sage back several years ago and something happened. That place kind of almost shut down, so we went to another place came back and had my cleaning supposed to be today. Was told that they couldn’t finish it and so didn’t even start it. Was there for 45 minutes. I was trying to be patient with the hygienist who kept trying to push another program at me for more than what my insurance would pay. She was passive aggressive and made a number of over generalizations I felt I needed to call her out on. I heard her say at the desk she didn’t want to work with me and so rescheduled me for the next week with a different person. On my way out. I said you need to get your poop together to the receptionist. I got a call from the office manager that said I treated his staff poorly and swore at them neither was correct. He canceled my future appointment…avoid this place at all cost. epilog: After downloading at home, we found to have been treated similarly by the hygienist taking attitude especially if we didn’t buy into their porgram. My wife was then switched to a different hygienist also. Great dr….
1st they cancel my appointment saying I never confirmed it which was a lie. Thankfully I was able to get in on original scheduled date however they insisted on trying to upsell, first at front desk then again in hygienist room. To take it further they started with a typical routine of X-rays and ended with attempting to reschedule my cleaning (in the slyest way ever) though that’s EXACTLY why I was there and EXACTLY what I booked the appointment for to begin with. I ask “am I getting my cleaning today?” I was told the hygienist wasn’t in (sorry about that). Then back at the front desk I was advised their “call center” whom I’ve never dealt with nor spoken to, should have warned me it isn’t a guarantee… like WTH. So I book an appointment for a routine cleaning yet it’s not a guarantee??????? I work, I have to request time off in advance. They were knowingly and intentionally dishonest, and not considerate at all. This is unprofessional and shows only money talks in that office. I am NEVER going back, and NEVER bringing my daughter back, NOT referring anyone to that place.
BEWARE! Make sure they are working on the correct tooth! I went in with a broken tooth and they worked on the tooth next to it. I didn’t realize this because my mouth was numb. When the dentist was done and I realized that they did not work on my broken tooth but had worked on the tooth next to it I was shocked! When I questioned how that could happen they said that that tooth needed to be fixed anyway because it had a crack that showed up on x-ray. They also said that was the tooth I signed off on. Why would I sign off on a tooth that wasn’t broken or hurting me? There was no tooth number on the consent I signed and even if there was how do I as a lay person know what the tooth numbers are. Needless to say I was quite upset. When I checked out I said to the Finance Person, Alex I think, that it was so nice that the dentist couldn’t take the time to come back to the room to address my concern he told me WE DID NOTHING WRONG AND YOU DIDN’T PAY FOR A COMPREHENSICE EXAM! I think they need to slow down and listen to the patients.
