I went to this dentist without insurance to get a quick check up and quote because of some slight pain I had in one tooth. After taking panoramic X-rays (not necessary) plus another 15 x-rays, and a 3D scan. The dentist came in. She spent about 3 minutes looking at my teeth calling out all of these teeth numbers to the hygienist. She was about to leave the room and I asked her so what’s the problem? She said the hygienist will talk to me about it. The hygienist told me I had 7 cavities and needed one chipped tooth fixed. I’ve never been to a dentist where the dentist leaves the room without explaining the cavities or even showing PROOF on the X-rays, the hygienist couldn’t even show me on the X-rays where the cavities were, which was strange. They quoted me around $5000 for a deep cleaning, a mouth guard, cavities filled and a tooth chip repair. Felt like they were up selling everything possible. Insane price and just felt really weird vibes about the dentist. On the other hand, the hygienist was VERY sweet and comforting, but i was left with so many questions. I’m going for a second opinion and will write back with an update here.

Avoid this place at all costs ! Was billed for treatment I did not receive, was told I would have to pay $2600.00 for a covered procedure then was sent to another dental office who billed my insurance because these people refused to send the X-rays to them after they sent me there ! I called my insurance went to St Louis paid $56.00 for the exact same procedure they wanted $2600.00 for . Was billed because their billing department drug their feet on sending my insurance a bill and tried to bill me for X-rays then for an exam then for a cleaning none of which happened except the X-rays . And those weren’t billed in a timely manner and the insurance stated I was not responsible for them as they had not been billed correctly. I have dealt with this for well over a year and after being told it was taken care of I get a bill from a collection agency under false billing ! Do yourself a huge favor go anyplace but here .

Really appreciated the thoroughness of Marcy. She was a good “teacher” too. Didn’t really get to see the dentist long enough to rate her. Just don’t want to feel as if I’m being pushed into a purchase/procedure without having time to think about, or learn about it.
