It amazes me that some of them are still trying to get away with using ‘old tech’ cleaning tools and ancient x-ray machines while still charge top dollar for their services.
I drink tons of coffee, red wine, used to smoke (now vape) and would barely a notice a difference after mostcthese other places had cleaned my teeth.
Crest whitestrips increased my tooth sensitivity and the result wasn’t worth the hassle.
I began to just accept that i had probably ruined my teeth, and it was my own fault…but then i moved and so switched dental offices.
First to one in burnaby. Over 2 appointments the hygenist spent over 2 hours cleaning my teeth.
I went home and looked in the mirror and could not believe what i was seeing. I rarely ever cry but it was impossible not to. It felt like a maricle.
That was the day i realized not all dental offices are the same.
I have also been very happy with Clayton Heights Family Dental and have been a patient there for at least 4 years. They have saved one of my teeth from needing a root canal. They once ordered a crown from a new supplier that didnt quite fit perfect so sent it back, and installed a new one later that same day (instead of just putting it in to fall out or rot behind).
I dont have insurance, but at least i can trust that the money and time I spend at CHFD is not wasted (but quite the opposite actually).
They also want me to be happy with both their work and my overall experience of the visit. I know the difference between good and bad offices and this one is good!

I got my X-Rays on Tuesday and they offered to remove 2 teeth for me same day. I requested to have all four out at once and they ended up booking me in for Thursday at opening. This was a blessing as oral surgery spots in Langley and Surrey had a 1-3 month wait list.
I was told they could not offer anaesthetics which made me very nervous but I opted for oral sedation and I am so glad I did. I was sedated for an hour before the procedure began, then all 4 of my teeth were out and I was being picked up 40 minutes later. I can’t remember anything that took place in the procedure (what more can you ask for) but 4 hours after getting home I was out of bed socializing with my family and feeling really good considering I just had 4 teeth extracted.
I’m not one to write reviews but I am beyond thankful for my experience here, everything was well explained to me beforehand making it minimally anxiety inducing, and an overall easy process. Thank you Clayton Heights Family Dental, and Dr. Hailey I recommend them to anyone looking for help especially with extractions!!
