My previous dentist had retired and I spent a long time looking for a good dentist that was also close to my home. I asked my friends and family and also did a lot of researching of my own. I finally decided on going to Dr. Hon Phong, and I can say he did not disappoint.

It had been quite a few years since the fillings in my molars had been put in from my previous dentist and those teeth were starting to show signs of wearing and cracking. Dr. Phong took photos of those teeth and showed me on the monitor with great detail exactly what the issues were, the different options for repairing them and his recommendations. I went with his recommendations and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. The repaired teeth looked very natural and blended really well with all my other teeth. My teeth now look and feel great!

When I compare the work done by my old dentist to the work Dr. Phong has done, it’s like night and day.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Phong to anyone looking for an exceptional dentist.

Going to the dentist has always been my LEAST favourite thing to do. I used to feel nauseous just thinking about it.
I moved and started going to RHDG and I can now honestly say that I am not nervous about going to the dentist anymore, and I had to go 4-5 times to get my teeth caught up after many years of avoiding any dentist.

Gloria is a very good cleaner and tried a different procedure when the first one was bothering me. She was very kind and friendly and gentle.

Dr Phong is my dental hero!! He certainly knows what he is doing and is up on the latest procedures, but he is also very patient and understanding. He has spent a good amount of time explaining things to me, and answering my questions during all of my appointments. I never felt rushed.
He is excellent at freezing…it is the first time I have never felt any drilling or filling.
He is extremely punctual and organized and never keeps me waiting.

I cannot recommend him enough.

I’ve been going to Richmond Hill Dental for the past year or so. My whole family comes here for routine cleaning and procedures such as root canal and crown work. I have to say this is the best Dental office in the Richmond Hill area, I live in DT and still trek my way uptown for my dental needs. My dentist Dr. Phong is amazing; he’s attentive and very thorough. He always makes me feel at ease and comfortable prior and during my root canal procedure. Gloria the dental hygienist is amazing too, she’s the only one who can clean my son’s teeth as he can’t stay still for a prolong period of time. I can’t say enough good things about Richmond Hill Dental Group!
