Be warned, the act all super nice and friendly like they actually care but then they scam anyone with benefits. I had called for an emergency tooth extraction and they booked me in. Dentist told me he could “save” the tooth, they did the work and then coarsed me into cleanings and other crap that could have waited Totalled 1300$ or more. 2ish weeks later I was back in his office to get it looked at due to pain and issues with same tooth I called about.They worked on it and 2 more weeks later… it got so bad I needed it extracted…like I originally called in for. So I call and ask how much is extraction..give my details and they say don’t worry come on in (claiming they honour the work). I go thru the whole extraction and am about to leave and they throw me a 160 dollar bill!!!!!! I am rightly taken back and am upset so i pay and leave. Later after I calm down and call asking for refund as they said it was not possible and after back and forth he became very insulting and condescending saying things like ” you weren’t ever tought insurance so trying to understand wont happen. Absolute dream when I had 100% coverage and before I called saying issues. Then the real face came out.

Basically they pretend to save your tooth knowing it will feel good for a few weeks. Book you a cleaning and gouge those benefits till they maxed. Then charge you for the work they should of done one the initial visit.

Sad that the dental assistants sisters working there are incredible and knowledgeable its just the money hungry benefit maxing dentist Tyler who ruined it. So fake.

I absolutely love Red Deer Dental and am so grateful to them for accommodating me! My father has gone to Dr. Connie for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else – so when I was home visiting and in need of a cleaning/exam/consultation, RD Dental was the obvious choice. They were able to fit me in and even further accommodated me for taking my wisdom teeth out. I saw both Dr. Courtney and Dr. Connie and both were friendly, professional, and caring. I was so nervous to have 4 teeth pulled but Dr. Connie eased my nerves and did an amazing job with my wisdom teeth. I was fully informed on aftercare and what to expect so as to prevent further complications, and the whole process was a lot smoother than I had imagined! All of the staff are so friendly and ready to greet you with a smile – thank you Red Deer Dental!

The older woman who works at the front desk is probably one of the most rude people I have ever met. She kept listing off times of appointments that sadly didn’t work with my schedule and was extremely rude after a while & told me I need to book time off of work to be able to see a doctor there. Completely unreasonable and as the front face of the clinic I find this to be unacceptable. To have her as the first impression of this clinic is an extremely bad look. She may want some training on basic human respect. Especially working with the public on sometimes sensitive matters. The dentist is intimidating enough for some people and to be talked down to and made to feel more insecure I will never visit this clinic. Sad because everyone else there is very pleasant.
