I arrived in Utah on a Friday morning flight from AZ. I had a dental emergency during my flight. When arriving at the SLC airport I immediately start looking for a dentist anywhere in Salt Lake, who would take emergency walk in. Abundant Dental Care was the 6th place I called trying to be seen immediately. I never had experience such excruciating pain, and Abundant Dental when hearing about my pain was willing to take me in immediately. I was seen at Abundant as soon as I arrived. They gave me a shot to numb the pain while I waited for the dentist. Staff were super friendly, very nice, compassionate and accommodating and I can’t thank them and the dentist enough. She took very good care of me. Her bed side manner was suburb. I hate going to the dentist but she makes the experience painless and I was very comfortable… I could not say enough great things about this place… if anyone hates going to the dentist they should definitely look this place up, you will change your mind after one visit. I can’t thank them enough for taking great care of me…. !

I had a disappointing experience, but I do appreciate the follow-up here and attempts to provide service recovery. I’ve adjusted the review to reflect this.

I had an urgent dental issue where my fixed bottom retainer split in two. I was assured from this location that they could address the issue and was able to schedule an appointment next day.

When I arrived the next day, I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled without prior notice. They told me my contact information taken over the phone was wrong. However, I had provided all my correct contact information in their patient portal after the call. I believe they had the means to contact me via email or cell.

While it’s understandable that this location didn’t have the resources to resolve my issue, this should have been communicated to me before scheduling an appointment. Luckily I found another location nearby that was able to get me in within the same hour, and addressed my issues with no problem.

Clear is kind. I hopeful this review will help improve patient experience.
