Awful experience. I booked a regular examination priced at PS38 on their website. I was taken for my appointment 20 mins late, it was a very quick check up, then the dentist said she was going to do a scale and polish. She did not ask if I wanted this and did not say it would cost anything. I then went to pay and was charged PS97 for an appointment that was supposed to cost PS38. When I explained I was not asked if I wanted the scale and polish or told it would cost extra, I was told ‘people usually get this done’. This is not a reason to assume everyone wants to pay extra for this. I was also charged PS45 for the regular examination when it was priced on the website at PS38. The actual scale and polish took around 2 mins and to be charged PS52 for this without my permission is unacceptable. After going through the complaints process, I was eventually offered a refund of PS52 for the scale and polish but not for the difference in appointment cost, I will not be back here.

The best decision I made was to move to Affinity Dental Care after a very difficult protracted experience with my previous dental practice. From the moment I phoned Affinity to enquire about moving to their practice, I felt that they cared about their patients and go that extra mile. I have had several appointments to rectify previous work which was completed by my last dentist, teeth whitening and also regular check ups. The work carried out has been first class and they always take time to explain the work required to be carried out. A massive thank you to the Receptionists who always work around my hectic work schedules to get me an appointment which suits. Also thank you to Rachel M and Alanna who have restored my faith in dentists and make the experience a pleasurable one! Join Affinity today, you honestly won’t regret it.

I *very* strongly recommend this practice. I had quite a bit of work done as a private patient after a few years of neglect following Covid. The work I had done was reasonably priced, and I’ve had no problems since. Rachel was very professional and communicated her advice about my options in a way that was clear and easy to understand. All staff were pleasant and professional.
