My family have been patients at this office for almost 2 years now. This is by far the most ethical and friendly dental office I’ve ever visited–and after living in Calgary and visiting several different dental offices there for almost 30 years, I feel quite confident saying that.

The team at 8th Street are extremely accommodating of people without insurance, even going so far as to remove some charges for some routine procedures to make the whole visit more affordable. As a bonus, kids’ cleanings are very affordable and “happy visits” are free!

The front end staff are always very friendly, pleasant, and communicative. Dr. Ferraro and all hygienists I’ve had have fantastic bedside manners, and they do a wonderful job with kids, always asking the children for consent and explaining what they’re doing before proceeding with a checkup/cleaning. They are also very respectful of boundaries, never pressuring the children (or adults, for that matter) to do anything they aren’t comfortable with.

I continue to be impressed with the whole team at this location, and commend them for truly putting the health and finances of their patients first.

Dr. Mather is the kindest dentist I have ever had. My very first visit was in a year that I had two different cancer diagnoses just months apart. In the middle of my cleaning (with Monique who is also amazing!) he came in to talk to me after reading my health info because he wanted me to know everything was okay. He assured me we’d talk about everything after my cleaning but after the year I’d had, he didn’t want me sitting there stressing out. This kind of compassion is what made me comfortable enough to bring my 84 year old mom in to him. He and his entire team were kind, patient, took as many breaks as she needed, treated her so well and even helped her put her shoes back on. He is not greedy;
No pushy sales here even when you have great benefits. This is an honest clinic, always on time, great staff and I cannot even believe how lucky I am to have found them.

I’m a new patient at Airdrie 8th Street Dental and decided to try them as they had great reviews. The reviews were right and I’m so glad I did!

I’m a bit of a complicated patient due to some health issues and Dr Feraro was amazing with me and finding the best solution for my needs. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is very patient, always makeing sure she’s answered all of your questions.

Their frontline staff is also fantastic! They are so friendly and welcoming and always greet you with a smile. A special thanks goes out to Jenn for going that extra mile to make sure things were taken care of for me quickly to prepare for a specialist appointment.
