Had previously great experiences here until recently. Technician was super rude today from the get go. Backstory, I came in in 2022 with some tooth pain expecting to be told I had a cavity, a previous dentist told me I had 6 of them which seemed outrageous as I’d never had a cavity before in my life, so I wanted a second opinion. At my first appointment here, I was told I didn’t have any, which was surprising considering the previous dentist… I was almost certain it was a cavity and I was worried about it, so they even did repeat x rays to be certain. I was told there was a spot between two teeth they were watching but that it was so minor I didn’t need to worry about it, and it could potentially not become an issue at all if I stayed on top of it. I have been staying on top of it and haven’t had any issues at all. I came in 2023 for my cleaning appointment and zero mention of any cavities at all, routine cleaning without issues. Fast forward to today, I went in for quick appointment (no X-rays or cleaning), and they asked me why I never had my fillings done in 2022. I said this is the first I’ve heard of it, explained the situation, and she basically made it seem like I was an idiot. My initial appointment in 2022 was made because I thought I had cavities and wanted them fixed if I did. I was told I did not have any. Records apparently say I did have them but that I declined fillings which is a flat out lie. Absolutely ridiculous.

My work required a 360 panoramic photo done and to be sent to another dentist office as they do not have the machine and for “ethical” reasons the new dentist said I would have to pay a $54 service fee for a check up before the photo can be taken.

I had previously had a 360 photo taken by the Aldergrove office in 2022 and was a patient for over 2 years. My work WOULD only allow to pay for the 360 photo to be taken as all other check up and cleans or work will be through another dentist office.

What does ethics have to do with it? It’s done by a medical office for another medical office. Medical clinics of all sorts are supposed to be about patient’s care. Unfortunately, this new dentist only sees the money . And if they did this, then what else would they do to others? Where’s the trust?

I will not go back, nor will I ever recommend this Aldergrove General and Family Denistry to anyone. I had previously brought in over 7 new patients in the last 2 years. With work ranging from cleanings to orthodontic work to cosmetics.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Aldergrove General and Family Denistry.

This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff members are genuinely friendly and kind and it is not only for show. They clearly love what they do and are passionate for the field! It definitely helps with easing my anxiety before scheduled appointments because like many, I do not enjoy getting my teeth meddled with! The dental hygienist assigned to me, Jasmine, is so down-to-earth and I honestly love everything about her. She is really sweet and thoughtful as she always ensured I am comfortable at all times. Dr. Arora is also a gem and I can say the exact same things about her! She was very thorough with her explanations which made it easy to understand. Let us not forget about the front of the house. The administrative assistants were also great! Very welcoming and greets you as you come in. Overall, a great, great experience! I highly recommend this office.
