Avoid this dentist at all costs! Where to begin with the number of issues this place has. Firstly, they will reassure you on the phone and convince you they do direct billing. However, when you are about to leave they tell you you must pay first then be reimbursed by insurance. They over charge for many procedures compared to other dentists. Dr. Mina wasn’t the most pleasant dentist to interact with. He was cold and uninviting, like he didn’t want to be there. The administration is a joke. They never take accountability for there errors, there is always an excuse or indirect blaming of others. I really wanted to give this dentist another chance but even at my second attempt it was still a nightmare. Now I have to wait upto 3 weeks for a reassessment of my coverage. Don’t waste your time or your money at this place, even if they are conveniently located for you. What a nightmare!
In all the years I have been a patient here, there has never been a bad experience – the care received has always been first rate. The office environment is pleasant and bright and the staff (Doctor, Assistant, Hygienist, Admin) at Altima Bayview Village are professional, friendly and congenial. I like being a patient here.
This places over charges for everything. The administration is inefficient. My wife got a procedure dine and they took 8 months to process paper work with the insurance. They charged me even when i was told that the procedure is fully paid by the insurance. I feel cheated and will never come back for any procedure.
