Today was my first visit to Amato Dentistry & Associates. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From a young age I have always had a fear of the dentist, but Dr. Jeff and Lorena did not make me feel pressured to make any decisions I was not ready to discuss. In his words, “You’re the captain of your own ship, you just tell me what I need to do.” I am in my late 20s and still have all my wisdom teeth and that has always been a hard pill to swallow because of my fear of the dentist.
Dr. Jeff and his assistant came up with a game plan for me where I will have the smile I have always wanted by putting my extractions at the very end of the list and I can be confident in my smile before facing my fears. My old dentist (Blue Ridge Dentistry) seriously told me “Do not reschedule your next appointment for cosmetic work until your wisdom teeth are out”. So long story short, I am happy I made this change and looking forward to going back to the dentist!

Highly recommend this office. I live in Wilkes but the experience is well worth the drive. Everyone I encountered went above and beyond with kindness and hospitality. They even have blankets if your cold. Again going above and beyond making the experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Previous cleanings and rude staff at another office has left me with sore gums and no desire to seek dental care. I have been diligent about caring for my teeth at home with no dentist for 14 years. They presented a clear treatment plan and not once did the hygienist scrape my gums she was excellent and thorough. I have read reviews about them being expensive well as the saying goes “You get what you pay for”

I neglected my teeth for 30 years and thus began experiencing lots of pain while eating. Dr. Amato put together a treatment plan which has me on the path to healthy teeth and gums. They pulled one, scaled them all, and put on a crown. The whole staff is friendly, the hygienists and technicians are talented, and the dentists (I was treated by both of them) didn’t hurt me. I had a procedure once after having to bury a family pet which has passed unexpectedly. I was pretty torn up about it and the whole place consoled me like old friends. Good people.
