Received a letter today saying they are no longer in a position to offer further dental care for myself at this practice because of repeatedly missed appointments. I am a new patient at this practice and have been seen once. The second appointment I turned up for the appointment but informed them that my wife had covid and they said they would give me another appointment. I had a telephone appointment the day before confirming my appointment. My wife told them that I was unwell and was told that as long as it wasnt covid that I was
to attend the appointment. Later that evening I was very unwell and attended out of hours and was informed that even though my lateral flow had tested negative that they believed I had covid. My wife rang the next morning to cancel my appointment but was unable to leave a message. My appointment was for 8.30 so to telephone later would be meaningless. Ithen today received theletter. They have done this to countless people. Avoid at all cost.

I had the misfortune if being an NHS patient at this practive for over 2 years.
My dentist would regularly tell me at appointments to go private for treatment instead of doing the work himself. I’m assuming he is paid for these appointments even if no work is done.
He then refused to put on a bridge after a tooth was removed, again telling me to go private where the cost was 5 times the amount, over a 1000 pounds. This was the last straw and I now have another dentist.
Disinterested in NHS patients, unprofessional and greedy.
AVOID!! Travel further to find a decent dentist.
Brilliant practice , receptionist are fab and treat you like a human , my dentist is Dr Ransom she has treated me with care and respect on all my visits , they have given some great advice and from someone who gets very nervous of the dentist they listened to my worries put me at ease and respected my worries .
Can’t recommend enough fab places .
