I was looking for a new dental office since getting new insurance. My provider showed Aspen Dental as a closer option for me. Overall the reviews seemed positive. When I came in for my 6 month routine check up, everything seemed fine at first. The wait was short, a plus. The xrays went well. Once I got in the chair and the technicians explained the xrays, okay normal. Then the sales pitches started, they kept pushing Invisiline to correct a couple teeth that I stated I was perfectly fine with. The doctor came in briefly, went over the xrays and tried to pitch the teeth corrections again. I just wanted to get the 6 month cleaning in. I was then led to the “office manager” who then presented me with a bill over $200 when i didn’t even get my cleaning that day! I was really taken back by that as I did not understand why a routine cleaning was costing that much with insurance. I asked her to explain the bill, she said it included a specialty treatment for gum disease…of which was the first hearing of it as my previous dentist said nothing of the sort. I was aware of collapsed areas in the gum line but to go out of the way to say gum disease I was very confused by. Then she said there were “take home items” I was being charged for, again that was not disclosed to me either. When I told her to remove the take home items such as a mouth wash and toothpaste the total came down to $106. I then asked her what else was being included and she then gave the itemized list. They were charging my $58 for a Fluoride treatment that I never agreed to. My past dental offices would always give me the option to decline. This place is nickel and diming you which to me is not fair to the patient especially if you don’t know any better. I asked them to remove that and other non essential items which brought the total down to around $50 including my $25 copay. This whole experience has been a turn off. I agreed to the $50 payment but once I’m up for my 6 month cleaning…I am looking elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing staff! It was my first time and I felt 100% comfortable with every single person that I came into contact with from the receptionist, to Drake who did my X-rays, to Kelsey the hygienist, the dentist herself and the office manager. My necessary treatment was made comfortable and completed fairly quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

Today was my first visit with Aspen and I was very pleased! Everyone was kind and attentive. I had a deep cleaning done and it was pain free. The entire experience was honestly the best dental treatment I’ve ever had. I was skeptical because there are some negative reviews but I’m so glad I went! Prices seemed more than fair also. Don’t hesitate.
