Absolutely horrible! If I could do zero stars I would! If I could do -10 I would. I broke a tooth, scheduled an appointment to get it fixed and was that the location within an hour. The dentist came in and the sales pitch began. I was told about how great dental implants are and that they would put together a treatment plan for me and that the office manager would be out shortly to review my options with me. I proceeded to ask the dentist if she was going to repair my broken tooth, which was causing me pain and was the only reason I was there. She said I’ll see what I can do not sure if there’s time in the schedule. Then I was escorted to the “patient lounge” where I sat waiting for the office manager for over 30 minutes. When she finally came out after I asked another employee to let me know what was happening, I told her I didn’t want the sales pitch. I just needed my tooth fixed. She proceeded to say that it’s not a sales pitch, it’s a treatment plan . Call it what you want. Bottom line, I went in there because I bit a cashew and broke a tooth and she was trying to pitch me on undoubtedly thousands of dollars worth of dental work I had no interest in today. I just needed to be out of pain and have one tooth repaired!!! I felt like I was at a timeshare pitch and I’ve never been to a timeshare pitch. They were overbooked and understaffed. I was there for over an hour and a half and accomplished nothing!! I felt like I was a dollar sign to them. Business is business, I get it. They open the doors to make money and that’s fine. The issue I have is that they had absolutely no intention of them helping me with the one thing I was there for today. They should’ve never made the appointment with me if they couldn’t do the work. So now here I am, still in pain and had to schedule with a different dentist that actually is considered a dentist unlike these people that are in the dental timeshare industry. Buyer Beware, stay away!
The dental assistant “Sapphire” (Love that name) and OMG the actual Dentist….I WISH I could remember her name . (sorry). They made my visit so comforting! I was trying to hide my tensed feelings..lets admit, when you experience dental pain and have had bad experiences at other locations, it’s hard to trust and get relaxed. NOT this place!! The vibe walking in there was ON POINT!! Sapphire was so sweet, calm and relaxing to be around, the dentist actually was concerned and wanted to know what I wanted done.. I wasn’t forced into anything. I was spoken to like a person. The staff in general I can tell get along and have fun! Which made it the best experience of my 40-something years of life. Get to THIS location. Disappointed will never be your mind frame leaving here .unless you’re just a grumpy person in general . Enjoy a great day and a beautiful smile!
I absolutely positively HATE going to the dentist. Dr McMahan and her staff are AMAZING. The office as a whole is very inviting and when you walk in you will notice a calm relaxed atmosphere. They are all kind and caring and don’t make you feel nervous at all. All the work I had done was don’t with care. I really appreciate this office. Dont let a chain scare you. This location specifically is unlike any dentist office I have been to in my life. I left my last dentist office after they kept cancelling appointments and having a high turnover. I’m not glad I had issues with my teeth but I feel so blessed to have found Dr McMahan. I cannot recommend this place enough.
