I am very scared of the dentist and put off cleanings for that reason, which makes me even less inclined to go for fear of being shamed. After extensive research I saw hygenist Susan and Dr. Chen and I am cured of my lifelong dental fears!! If you (like me before 2 hours ago) think there is nothing good about US healthcare, it’s only because you haven’t met Susan yet. She could not be more kind or caring and I could not have been more comfortable. I literally feel lucky to live in Astoria so that this can be my dental office. If you are scared to make a dental appointment, make one here and ask for Susan to be your hygenist. I am 100% confident you will not regret it. Dr. Chen was also really great and informative and the reception staff is also wonderful and I didn’t wait at all.

this is my favorite dentist / dentists office i’ve ever been to! everyone is always so pleasant and kind! they’re always on time – sometimes if I show up a few minutes early, then they see me early too! (a rare experience in any doctors office!) the hygienists are gentle and thorough. and Dr. Lam is the absolute best! she takes my concerns seriously but is conservative about drilling and clearly cares about her patients. I often feel gaslit at dentists offices but everyone here is so validating, smart, and kind. as someone who has bad teeth genes, I would definitely recommend Dr. Lam and everyone here!

Dr. Kashani is by far the worst dentist . She is rude very unprofessional. A dentist is supposed to make a patient feel comfortable because no one really likes to go to a dentist she is sitting there telling me she can’t numb me anymore but wants me there crying in pain. Dental pain is worst than birth . And besides that there were ants/ bugs walking around the tray she walks out the room with gloves doesn’t change them it’s double contamination.
