Growing up, I was sent to the public dental training clinic through school where it honestly felt like I was in a horror film – It was nightmare fuel at the time, leading to more and more dental problems as a child. With such problems but a fear of dentists my family took me to Dr Shin’s practice which was relatively new at the time due to positive reviews in the Korean community. The degree of patient care, choice of procedure, and open communication that I received eventually turned a nightmarish experience into something I absolutely enjoyed and became excited for. Needless to say, more than 15 years later I am still a regular at this clinic without the doubt or curiosity to go anywhere else. I am treated very well, all information is provided to me as is without culling the complexity, and I receive the very same treatment I used to as my first visits.

You can also tell that he really cares about his staff and the clinic as Maria and the assistant crew have been there for as long as I remember!

I have been going to Dr. Shin since he had a small 1&1/2 room Practice in the back of Railway St Medical Centre in 2007. Moved to the St. Mary’s area in 2015. Tried a couple of local Dentists, over 4 years, not the same. So I travel the extra distance to Dr Shins surgery. His reception staff are happy, friendly and always very helpful. Dr. Shin is well experienced, has high standards and is friendly, gentle, kind & has a good sense of humour. He has managed to build his practice with a team of dentists who reflect his own qualities and who also give painless injections . Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Shin is a very skillful and kind Dentist. I have been going here for many years and would highly recommend his practice to anyone who is hesitant about going to the dentist. He has always done a quick and painless job and I will keep using his clinic for many more years.
