Complete, utter garbage.
First of all, let me just lay it out there Pius Kim shouldn’t count as a real orthodontist. Far from it. It seems like he’s a hit or miss, so I’ll give him that he didn’t always do a terrible job, but he did a horrible job for me. I want to call him a quack, but somebody stupid certified this guy, sadly. What kind of an orthodontist can only be a hit or miss to his clients? We all paid big money to get our teeth fixed, you know. Come on… Look elsewhere, you will find plenty of other orthodontists with good reviews, good skills, and great personalities. This guy fits none of those qualities.

Made my mouth overly small…It messed up my jaw position so now I’m going to have to go see someone who actually knows what they are doing. And yes, for the record, i followed the after-care instructions every single day. Never missed a single day of wearing those damn retainers.

Also extremely rude all the time! He thinks he is the best, when he’s clearly not. He dismisses any questions you might have and belittles you, and he makes you feel bad! If something’s not going according to his plan, it’s your fault. It’s because you have “weird bones” and “your case is abnormally haaaard”.

And I’m serious about the rude part. he really enjoys making fun of you. Maybe he got bullied as a child and gets some sort of weird satisfaction from talking down on his clients. Also, please spend more time to work on your customers, will you? Stop making your assistants do all the work before you come for 10 minutes.

Man, I still remember when he said that I’m “not very pleasant looking”, when he’s the one who looks like a horse. Very unpleasant person.

Never go to this place, take it from someone who has had their teeth “fixed” from here. One of the biggest regrets in my life, I’m telling you…

Absolutely terrible, Dr. Kim is extremely unprofessional and I’m almost certain that he enjoys to belittle people. In the beginning he was tolerable, but he became more confident in that he was able to say whatever was on his mind with no filter. I understand that if the patient doesn’t follow orders it gets frustrating, extremely frustrating, but that is absolutely no excuse to belittle a patient and tell them that they are wasting everyone’s time. Constantly reminding the patient that they are wasting everyone’s time and that he’s tired of working on this patient and saying that there’s no point and that the patient should give up? Farthest thing from being professional. He likes to joke around and he asks rhetorical questions probably knowing it makes the patient uncomfortable, and then badgers them for a response. He is really great and making a person feel terrible that’s one thing. He needs to understand that he’s getting paid. This is his job, no matter how difficult the patient is, they are paying him and he cannot complain and belittle the patient. The desk lady at the front is also like him, the one with the pixie cut, didn’t bother to learn her name because she was constantly belittling us too. I am extremely glad that this is almost over, very excited to never have to step foot in this place ever again!

This place is really expensive (cost nearly 8000) but it doesn’t mean they provide best service.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

Dr. Kim doesn’t spend a minute explaining anything but always make bad remarks and keep on rhetorical questions while working patient’s teeth.
Just like person below said, he really excels at making a person feel terrible. He has way too much ego for his skills.
More than anything, while all that talking, I don’t know if he did proper job on my teeth.
When he finally gave a chance to talk about my teeth, it was after the work was done. Obviously, he just wanted to jack more money out of me after the contract was over, that’s why he didn’t bother to answer anything until then.

If there’s anyone that has recommended this place to you, either they have some connection to Dr.Kim or they certainly wants you to suffer like they have. I value my friends, I told them to try anywhere but this place.
