Had a terrible experience with beachside family dental care. I never leave reviews and this is probably my first one ever. Prior to the visit they told me they have received my insurance which is great. But the whole time I’m in the chair they are trying to up-sell me on all of these services which I had to say no to multiple times. They were very eager to get me set up with another appointment for follow up work. and like any reasonable person I ask “lets see the numbers first so I can see what my insurance is going to cover and then we can go from there” They come back and tell me that my insurance had never gone through to begin with, I would’ve never found this out unless I asked for the numbers. My first visit which was supposed to be a check up and a cleaning which is covered by my insurance turned into a money grab completely not having me in their minds. At the same time the assistant is still trying to up-sell me on a deeper cleaning. I asked to leave at this point and they she was still trying to sell me on more stuff. They just don’t take no for an answer. It was supposed to be a simple routine check up and cleaning which got out of hand so quickly. I’ve never been so pissed off and upset.

This office has been a nightmare. Dealing WITH the billing department is the worst they pre authorized all my procedures with my insurance and I was approved. They never sent the claims to my insurance company and my insurance denied all the claims because they were never filed. It’s is not my fault ,this dentist needs to make things rite and stop sending me bills. I don’t owe your office ANYTHING because your billing department never filed my claims. I’m reporting this office to the BBB ASAP THEY CAUSE NOTHING BUT STRESS… BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE

If I could give zero stars, I would . this practice is awful when it comes to dealing with your insurance. They were insisting my husband wasn’t covered when we called our union and found out We were 100% covered. They had the nerve to get nasty with us when they did the wrong paperwork and throw us out of their practice after I’ve referred numerous clients there. I will not be going back, all they care about is trying to take your money and not looking into what your insurance covers. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere
