Nice staff and dentist, but on the pricey side. I don’t mind paying privately for good service though, and they are good so far.

However there was an incident on yesterday’s appointment which was irritating. I arrived 5 mins before appointment time and there was a gentleman just in front of me in the reception queue talking to the receptionist, he was in a rush and explained he had the appointment 10 minutes after mine but another appointment quickly afterwards. The receptionist let him in front of me without asking. Then another issue (a walk in emergency with a child with toothache I think) and I ended up waiting 40 minutes.

I would have said it’s ok to the child if asked of course, but not the first guy. We all have busy days. This dental practice charges for the missed appointment. I would recommend the dentist sticks to the appointment times, and order of appointments and at least ask you if you have to give way.

I arrived at the Surgery and was greeted with such welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable receptionists; Georgy and Beth. Of course, I was anxious and felt very vulnerable to have deep root canal treatment. Who wouldn’t be? The treatment was performed by Mr Thomas Linley and his nurse. Throughout the procedure, I was treated with dignity and informed during each step of the procedure. My initial feelings of vulnerability were soon put aside. Mr Linley and his nurse worked efficiently, professionally and with such consideration and kindness towards me. I suffered absolutely no discomfort. Their skill, I hope, has saved me from losing a tooth. I highly recommend this Dental Practice

I will firstly start this post with saying what a fear I have of the dentist!! I’ve been lucky enough to bag an NHS place here and this has been my dentist for around 5 years. My current dentist there is Tom. I can’t speak highly enough of him! Just incredible. I feel listened to. He knows I’m worried each time I go but it’s getting easier and easier for me because he simply is so good. My check ups are pain free. My treatments are gentle and I’ve even got the courage now to not fear the hygienist! Great staff all round and I never have to wait ages for my appointment. Really lucky to be a patient here and I’d reccomended it to anyone who is thinking of getting on their books.
