I don’t leave reviews often. But this practice goes so far above and beyond it warrants it. My wife and I were referred here by a work colleague and we couldn’t be happier with Dr Jernigan and the staff. We’d both been on the hunt for a good Dentist and so many people shared our feelings about some of the other practices around. Dr Jernigan and staff were such a breath of fresh air once we found them. They’re unconsciously competent in every aspect of doing their jobs. They will NOT try and sell you services you don’t need, and the work they do is second to none. I had a small bonding job on one of my front teeth I’d been unhappy with for a few years. After one of my first cleanings they scheduled me in to have that work redone. The difference was simply amazing, it literally made me want to smile more. This practice deserves praise for their straight forward, no fluff approach. The cleanings are excellent(Jackie) and everyone there seems to have a gentle touch. Not to mention everyone in the office is genuinely happy to be there. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

I was referred to Dr. Jernigan by a couple of friends who had been going to him for over 20 years. Both of them highly recommended him and told me about his great practice, personality and ethics. However, after speaking on the phone with his receptionist, I started to ponder how true it was. Though she was very snappy and asked me, “…do you even have insurance?” I continued and set an appointment. I set it for 10:45a., and I even took off of work. But when the day came, turns out it was set for 8:30a. I was over it times two. I began to tell his receptionist that I have never made an appointment that early in my life. I’m rarely dressed at 8:30a. She replied, “…well you did. So I can reschedule you for two months away and that’s that.” I’m so disappointed as I really looked forward to seeing him.

I have been going to Dr. Jernigan for more than 15 years and have never had such a wonderful dentist before. He is very caring and generous as well as extremely competent. I moved further away but am more than willing to drive the extra miles to benefit from Dr. Jernigan’s care. Dr. Jernigan has also consistently gone above and beyond for both my elderly parents.
