I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt I needed to be honest about my experience at Bird Rock Dental. I came into the office to have a series of treatments done (Invisalign, veneer, whitening). Upon my first treatment, I was given a total cost quote by the staff that I signed off on. After a few appointments though, the front desk called to let me know I owed another significant sum of money. When I expressed my surprise, they told me that insurance was not covering what they thought. I owed more money and was assured that this would be the final payment. To be fully transparent, this was not a minor mistake in fees but over a thousand dollars I additionally owed.
A few months later, I received yet another bill from Bird Rock. When I called, I was told the original front desk lead was no longer there and things had been miscalculated yet again, so I owed more money. This was now the third time I was experiencing a payment increase. The office told me I had signed off on the services pricing, but when I requested the copy of the document I found that my signature wasn’t on that document. Someone at the front desk had signed off on it instead. When I raised this to the attention of the office, I was told that person was no longer there and new practices were in place but the sum was still owed. In additional conversations with the office to settle the payment, I also found out I had not received the whitening trays I had paid for. The service lead put me in touch with the front desk who told me they would check in on it for me. Four weeks later, and I have no response back.
There were also incidents where I showed up to the office for an appointment and no one was there. Other incidents where I had to return to get cement scraped off my teeth that wasn’t fully removed. All in all – it was a poor service experience that the office did not seem to address.
I unfortunately will be going elsewhere in the future and I wanted to honestly share this experience so others can review and assess. I trusted Bird Rock Dental to provide me an honest and reliable experience and the reality was far from that. I am disappointed that so much money was spent on a very poor experience and result and I truly hope that new practices are put in place for future patients.

Teeth cleaning was great and that’s the only reason they get 2 stars. Hygienist is very good.
Terrible experience with doctors and front office. ( friendly and welcoming atmosphere but actual professional service is lacking at best)
Crown installed, came out a month later I almost choked on it. 2000$ job that had to be fixed as at first it was too wide and tall which led to my teeth moving in wrong directions which led to a formation of a large gap that’s going to be very difficult to fix now
Aligners priced at almost 6000$ after 20 sets did not do the job and our new dentist now has to fix their mistakes as I have ended up with gaps and overall result is not satisfactory.
When we tried to transfer the case to our new dentist front office completely screwed up the process and what could have been done in 3 business days took over a month. Front office at this clinic is as bad as dentists working there. No regard for their patients. The moment you pay your bill their care and post care ends.
I would not recommend this clinic as simply they do not care about patients and just work for pure profit.

Customer service is very attentive. Everyone involved is very personable and genuine and likeable and appealing. They went into great depth about every aspect and I really appreciate that because I work very hard to maintain high degree of self-care especially in regards to my teeth. When you really learn about it, not taking good care of your teeth has huge risks. I really appreciate their level of care and look forward to my next visit. By the way, the $179 special includes the first visit, exam, x-rays, evaluation and cleaning, $225 for initial bundle if periodontal maintenance is your thing, which is mine.
