I called the office with an emergency situation and they got me in. I had called other dental offices and their personnel were telling me it could be as long as 3 weeks or more before I could be seen. Ava, the receptionist/office assistant, excelled at getting my information for my file and helping me understand forms. She is truly great at her job! The nurses were very knowledgeable and explained to me what they were doing as pictures were being taken. The nurse was alert to my concerns about biting down on the instrument due to it being a bit painful. Doctor Schmalz was informative and thorough during my exam and David Vetch walked me through the financial aspect of what I should expect from my insurance and what my estimated costs would be. I recommend this team of professionals for anyone who is struggling with dental issues!

Staff was so nice, friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. They were able to give me advice on questions I had and look at all my problems. They didn’t turn me away or tell me that they couldn’t do something because they took out to the next level and got me directed to a place where I can get a root canal fixed that failed from 20 years ago letting me know that even if the root canal can not be fixed they can take care of that too with another option they have within their office. I am so thankful to find a place that’s able to help me fix my teeth again!!!!!! And I know they will be there with me every step of the way until it’s done. I highly recommend these people and their positivity to be able to help someone.

We were in Hot Springs on our honeymoon when my husband had a dental emergency. We called shortly after they opened and they were able to get us in not long after. EVERYONE was super kind and caring as we were both very anxious (and also out-of-staters). Dr. Schmalz is amazing. He talked us through everything and was very transparent about options. In short, he is a dentist that truly cares about his patients. We were also kept updated and had explanations on the costs, which is a huge plus. My husband ended up needing to have an extraction and it got done while we were there, and also got prescribed antibiotics. We are so happy we found this place. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! 🙂
