Will be finding my kid a new dentist I have always brought my kid in for appointments missed one and rescheduled one due to car issues car would not start. I got a letter says I missed several!!!! While they understand the next one will be dismissed either rescheduled or missed at that I’m done if I reschedule I. Advance or emergency comes forth I’m still treated like dirt for being responsible. No thanks that’s not understanding that’s passive aggressive and I don’t play meanwhile the nurses were very nice I only had one brushed a spot on her gums once hard to make it bleed and than try to say she wasn’t getting enough brushed lady no that’s why I start letting my husband bring her you don’t be rough with my kid physically. Then the dentist dan says her teeth look great nothing wrong then asks three times how many times we brush them says well there is a cavity on back then when questioned with saying one thing than another he says idk are you not a dentist how do you not know than the letter that was the nail in the coffin others here say 7 missed oh gosh I got one and one rescheduled good bye im not gonna have out of nowhere a bunch of fake cavities or now my kid needs unnecessary sedation
I took my daughter here a few months after moving from Rhode island. I had some concerns about some spots on her front teeth. The dentist told us it was fine and put silver on her teeth to slow the decay. I called back a few weeks later with concerns that it was looking way worse than when I first brought her in. They completely dismissed me and then gaslit me saying it’s normal and that THEY didn’t feel the need to see her. I quickly found her a new dentist but the wait was two months. When she finally seen by the new dentist they said she should of had a corrective procedure down when I first has concerns. Now my 2 year old had to have 3 teeth extracted when this could of been corrected when I first took her to the dentist. Not only was I dismissed about my concerns but I was also treated like I was a bad parent. This office is extremely judgemental and rude the dentist seemed bothered that I had so many questions. I’m rightfully angry and will be taking legal action for the pain and suffering that could of been avoided for my 2 year old! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
My wife has been taking my son who is now 6 to Blue Ridge his while life, we have their pictures on our refrigerator from all the visits over the years where the check ups came back all good, no problems. Until this last visit, where out of nowhere they tell us about all these cavities and some more serious issues that will require sedation to help fix. We were shocked, and got a second opinion from a different office where they told us that alot of these issues would have been evident at the last appointment or two, where we continued to receive a clean bill of health, deceiving us that the brushing routine we were doing was working perfectly fine and needed no change. We would have been more thorough with his cleanings if we would have been made aware that what we were doing wasn’t enough but they never gave us any feed back that things were starting to turn bad in a big way. We will not be back.
