Awful service. My 2 and a half year old daughter had her first ever dental appointment booked in for 3.10. She had knocked her front tooth and chipped it. I was running slightly late due to it being prime time school traffic. At 3.14 I received a call to ask if I was still coming for the appointment. Apologised and explained yes unfortunately due to traffic I am not far away and will be with them in 5 mins time. Arrived at 3.19 and queued outside visible behind another patient for 1 or 2 mins maximum. As I approached the receptionist she sheepishly told me the dentist would not see my daughter. I thought this was discourteous for the dentist to not allow a 10 min wait on my side when the amount of times you wait in similar scenarios when the tables are turned. I have never heard of any establishment providing any type of service (on an appointment basis) to not have the common courtesy to allow for a 10 minute window. Furthermore why didn’t he have any compassion for the fact it was a small child’s appointment. I asked to speak to the dentist and was told he was with his next patient. I do not believe this was the case. I highly doubt the next appointment slot was 10 mins after my daughter’s and they allowed 10 mins only. I want to know why he thought this was acceptable to do. I was there by the time mentioned on the phone. If it was a huge issue I would of appreciated during that phone call to have been advised not to bother coming at all!

About twenty-five years ago, after neglecting my dental health for far too long due to a fear of dentistry, I had the good fortune to be referred to David King and the team at Bollington Dental Practice. Mr King performed wonders to save my teeth that were close to unsustainable. However, with his good management and skill, reinforced with regular maintenance by hygienists at the practice, any embarrassment about the condition of my teeth has long since been a thing of the past.
Nevertheless, over the past year, a front tooth had started to loosen and I reluctantly agreed that bridging the tooth was the best option. Then I was faced not just with concern about the treatment but also about the outcome. I need not have been concerned on either count. The work was carried out with care and professionalism, as ever, and the outcome was, to me, incredible.
Needless to say, I have nothing but praise for everyone at Bollington Dental Practice. Clearly for Mr King, but also the hygienists, nurses and reception staff, and if my experience is anything to go by I’m confident that the other dentist’s at Bollington Dental Practice are excellent as well.

I have been coming to this practice since I was a little girl. And even moving to Macclesfield 27 years ago I was not going to change to a Macclesfield dentist as this is without a shadow of a doubt the best dental practice in the area.
The entire staff here are amazing very helpful, professional and very friendly I have known them a long time.
Special mention to my dentist Alison who is very professional, friendly helpful and excellent in what she does in her line of work.
And always makes me feel at ease and relaxed.
