I drive 40-60 minutes each way, depending on traffic, to have any major dentistry work done. Dr. Davis is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, expedient, a good value, and above all, a very nice person. This comment also applies to his staff. He uses 2 of what I consider state of the art dental practices. One is he does not use the standard syringe and needle technique to administer the anesthetic. He uses what I call a wand. A wand is a thin long plastic tube where a needle is at one end of the wand and a capillary tube on the other of the wand. A pump pushes the anesthetic through the capillary tube, through the wand body, and through the needle into your gums. I have never seen this set up in any other dentist office. I almost forgot, there was no sensation of pain as the wand did its thing. The second most unique piece of equipment he has in his office is what I refer to as a CNC crown making machine. He is able to scan the area that needs a crown, push the data to the CNC machine and approximately 30 minutes you have a perfectly shaped crown. 10 minutes later you are leaving the office with no restrictions.
