There are many dentists around the greater Houston area that are airway centered, this dentist is not. There are several orthodontist in the greater Houston area that are airway centered, this one is not. Just google biological dentists near you, their website should say if they take insurance. Or just call to ask.

I don’t consider this practice to be holistic or biological because they don’t treat the whole person. It’s symptom management. I learned a lot here, had some good experiences and some not so good experiences.

There are some great biological/holistic dentist that take insurance in the area. Make sure the practice is airway centered, that’s your green light.

They were shut down for the storm that hit Cypress in June and we had showed up for an appointment not knowing they were shut down and couldn’t reach any on call. I spent that day looking for other orthodontists and that’s when I learned about airway centered and all sorts of other important info. I’m grateful it happened otherwise we would still be there not getting the real help we needed.

I had already gotten a negative vibe when I explained to the dentist that my bite was off, the left side of my teeth weren’t touching. After they had done several crowns and she first explained to wait. Then when it didn’t change she told me to go back to the dentist that did a crown on my right. I went back to that dentist and she said that was stupid and bad service. There were other issues but that one was the straw for me.

The office staff is really nice and helpful, sometimes it’s a little unorganized but it’s functional. The dental hygienist is knowledgeable. Don’t let them tell you that biological dentists are extreme, I’ve interviewed several since and they educate then let the patient make their own decisions.

Just recently, my husband made an appointment for cleaning not knowing that I had already made one at our new dentist and when he called to confirm shortly before the appointment they said they had no appointments for him. We’re thinking they didn’t like that I left a review, who knows. Overall we’re grateful because we’re now getting the help we need.
