Reviews:
Terrible dentist and dental assistant, very good receptionist.

The inspection done on my teeth caused damage, as I’ve looked after my own teeth for 24 years, I decided to try a dentist for enamel repair. Which I was told is not possible.

However I was told, I need a filling where the dentist scraped so much, the tooth hurt on leaving and a few days later hurts. I believe the invasion of the harsh dental tool that scraped the top of the molar caused the damage to cause the pain. Dr Lauren appears to have dental knowledge but in my opinion she is causing the damage to get paid more. She also went on to up-sell a mouth guard for $580 that I could not afford, but offered a payment plan. Which seems friendly but on my ODSP income is not, as I’m buying a $16 mouth guard from Amazon. And going to another dentist to get my enamel repaired and the damage corrected.
The dental assistant has a lacking bedside manor, his invasive procedures for taking an X-ray caused pain and I felt violated by his close movements behind my head, it appeared as though he was listening to the top of my head!?
It’s polite to inform the patient what you are doing and the procedure.

Annie the receptionist, is very good at communication via text message and on the phone, that was where I felt assurance that the dentist would be professional, unfortunately that’s not the case here.

I cancelled my next appointment and I gave feedback, but the dentist did not respond.

This dental clinic in Toronto is one of the worst I have ever encountered. The assistant there behaves like a dentist and even tells the actual dentist what to do. I had never had any issues with my teeth for years until I visited this clinic in January 2022 for a routine cleaning. However, the dentist claimed that I had a cavity, which was a blatant lie. When I informed him that I was only there for a cleaning, he insisted on removing the cavity first before proceeding. Without my consent, he proceeded to freeze my mouth and remove the enamel from the top of my tooth, attempting to restore it with a small bone. The next day, my teeth were in excruciating pain, and when I returned to the clinic, he removed the bone without providing any explanation for doing so. It was clear that this immature dentist had no idea what he was doing, and his actions were both unethical and possibly even illegal. Unfortunately, I don’t know the dentist’s name, but I would never recommend this office to anyone. When I visited my regular dentist, they reviewed my old X-rays and were extremely upset with the work that had been done in Church and wesley Dental clinic. There was no cavity present in my teeth, and they still can’t understand why the dentist performed such unnecessary and damaging work. I urge everyone to ignore the five-star reviews of this clinic, as the assistant there often begs and asks people to leave them.
An interesting receptionist with a rude stare, always engrossed in her phone, often causing delays as I wait for her to finish. My visit would have been more pleasant had the receptionist respected the appointments made and prioritized patients over her phone usage.

With all due respect, there are surely others who would take the job more seriously and brighten the days of patients.

Dr. T.K is always striving for the best for his patients, but sadly I have made the decision not to return.
