Aaron Hayes disappointed my mother so badly. She is elderly and had some tooth pain. She went in about one tooth and mr Hayes convinced her it be best to remove all of her front teeth (top and bottom) and to get partials. My mother trusted him and went with his recommendation. He doesn’t tell her that her coverage won’t cover even half of the procedure until he has already pulled all her teeth out. So we had to get a loan, go into debt jst so she could afford her partials. Why tell an 80 y.o. To do this without explaining how much this would change her life. Now she has been back multiple times to fix the fit and this makes her miserable. My mother always told me quality of life matters to her most and this doctor has diminished that somewhat for her. Now after 2 years they don’t fit right and since her insurance won’t cover it she has to pay another 3,000 dollars to get new ones. I wish I would’ve went to her appointments with her

Update: Dr. Tao is doing everything in her power to try and make things right for my mother even though this was not her doing. I am glad dr. Hayes is no longer at this practice and that dr. Tao was gracious enough to right another doctor’s wrongs. Thank you

Recently I was informed I would need some major dental work to be cleared for an upcoming hip replacement surgery. I sought out local dentists near me and chose City Center Dental Care. I’m so glad I did. The staff and doctors have been so accommodating to my every need. From Miss Lisa and Miss Heather out front for working with my scheduling and financing. To Miss Erin, Miss Chelsea, and all the other dental assistants for making me feel comfortable and well taken care of. And finally to Dr. Hayes for his kindness, caring, and compassion. He takes the time to explain what work is needed and why, as well as listening to any questions and concerns I might have. Like most people, I’m not a big fan of visiting the dentist’s office, but Dr. Hayes and his staff make those visits enjoyable and comfortable. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of me and my dental needs. Highly recommend.

assigned by the Hampton VA dental clinic.

On 3/29/2024, I received a disturbing phone call from a representative of this office.

I can best describe the tone of this representative as uncultured and condescending. The caller told me I would not be getting a particular recommended service. Unfortunately, the representative didn’t provide the source of the information.

I’ve been assigned to this provider for a few years and I’ve never experienced this type of behavior from this office or my current dentist (Dr. Tao).
It is my prayer that this was perhaps a challenging day for the caller. As a small business owner, it isn’t the tone I expect from my employee to display when addressing our clients.
