I’ve been going to CITY DENTAL since I was 15 years old. I’ve been talked into getting some new dental work done. I was so excited at first I said to them let’s do it. before I started everything I tell them to give me a quote of how much everything would cost they give me a quote of $8000 and that’s what I was working with. I pay for all my appointment visit so it won’t complicated, my Dental surgery!!!!
they told me it would’ve taken one year and that was in 2021 now it’s 2024 and still haven’t got anything done… by the time I go back the dentist that was working on me apparently he quit so now they give me a whole new quote. Now I’m fighting to get my money back. The unprofessionalism that goes on at this place is crazy they’re very racist/homophobic it disgust me. At first I recommended a few people here now it seems like a bad idea.

I called in for an appointment and the reception person pushed me for a same day appointment even though I said I preferred next week.
The afterward, I saw they were charging me for 45min of cleaning even though I had done x rays, complete examination, and cleaning all done and was only in the clinic for a total of 40 min… How is this even possible???
I spoke with the reception and dentist who were both unapologetic about overcharging to insurance and denies their actions saying that’s normal. I have never had this sort of underhanded behaviour!
Overall OK service but dishonest practice. Overall will not return… it used to be OK here. Be aware of fake reviews.
OH also – Previously charged me for 3 minutes “consultation” without even looking at my teeth…
I went for scaling & fillings at yonge st branch. The desk person Hiral(if I am wrong) is very cooperative & supportive. Dr. George as well as the other doctor (unfortunately didn’t remember her name)who did scaling both were so kind, supportive & calm. As it was for the first time I visited to any dentist, they didn’t made me feel uncomfortable & the job was done patiently & great. Would recommend for the city dental yonge street.
