Firstly, I want to commend the hygienist for their hard work and kindness.

Now, onto the issue of charges. Last year, I went in for a cleaning using my school insurance. I assumed I could return for another cleaning after six months. However, when I did return, I was unexpectedly billed $250. When I questioned this, I was informed that my insurance only covered $60, as the first claim was around $300. This lack of communication regarding charges is unacceptable. It’s imperative to inquire about procedures and costs before utilizing insurance.

Additionally, I referred a friend who only went in for a consultation for braces, yet they charged her insurance $160 without any treatment performed. On top of that, they demanded a $500 deposit for the braces.

For those with insurance, it’s crucial to confirm what will be submitted and the associated costs before any claims are made, ensuring transparency and avoiding surprises during subsequent visits.

Had a family dental appointment. The staff were kind enough to take care of my 6 month old baby while we were with the doctors. Really appreciate the professionalism and kind gesture. The staff go out of their way to ensure a pleasant visit each time. We come all the way from Durham, cross town for our dental needs here because of the amazing care we get from the dentists and all the staff. Highly recommend City Heart Dental.
