Dr. Fong, Dr. Shah and their assistants are great, Dr. Fong checked on, confirmed and prescribed treatment for the infection of a wisdom tooth last month while Dr. Shah handled both a filling and wisdom tooth extractions within a 2-3 day span for me. Both procedures went smoothly, taking about 30 minutes each with no pain during or immediately after (no pain whatsoever for the filling)! It’s been less than 24 hours since the extractions have been done and while I’ve been dreading the day long before I ever sought treatment, the combination of explaining the process as it happened and numbing made it a relatively calm process – and I’m usually incredibly anxious and on edge at the dentist, like ‘can’t even do x-rays sometimes because of the biting pieces’ type of anxious. The receptionists are also lovely and have made bookings easy and swift, especially when I sought an emergency appointment for the infection and got me in within two hours. Can’t recommend them enough!
The staff here generally has an attentive and even friendly attitude towards customers. Fast, clear, comfortable. The doctor comments on his actions and this is very good. This makes me feel better in the dentist’s chair. I removed one star because of the prices. Maybe they are competitive. But still high. Maybe it makes sense for the clinic to study the experience of providing installment plans for its services. Don’t know! This is more of a feeling than a fair assessment. Overall – I recommend!
I always get exceptional care at City Smiles. My hygienist Coleen is very meticulous, professional, pleasant, thorough and takes the time to educate me on dental X-rays, tips on dental care, answer all my questions and always shows interest in what she is doing. Dr. Fong hasn’t changed his “chair side” manner in the 30 or more years I’ve been going there. He is always pleasant, takes the time to answer your questions and very thorough. Always a positive experience at my appointments.
