I don’t usually leave negative reviews on Google. The reason is that I don’t want to negatively impact small businesses. However, my experience here was so terrible that I want to provide a detailed review.

First, the waiting time was excessive. Originally, I went in for scaling, but the dentist recommended a night guard and said we would do that instead. On the day we scheduled for a 3D scan, the dentist didn’t show up, and I waited for 50 minutes with no sign of them. Finally, a nurse stepped in and took the 3D scan for the night guard in their place.

The night guard typically takes about 2 weeks to receive, but I ended up waiting for over a month. The previous appointment was unilaterally canceled by the dentist due to their reasons. However, when I arrived, the dentist wanted to do the night guard scan again. I informed them that I had already done the scan and came to pick it up. The dentist seemed unaware that the night guard was already in production and insisted on rescanning. I had to argue to finally receive the night guard.

The dentist asked if I wanted to fill the gap between my front teeth. I agreed because their prices were lower than other dental clinics. However, the results were a mess. My teeth were uneven, and they pushed on my gums, causing pain. I asked them to remove it, and the dentist removed some of it. I didn’t like it, and the dentist offered not to charge me. However, the pain was unbearable, and I couldn’t sleep that night, so the next day, I went to another dental clinic and paid extra to have it removed. People around me advised against getting complicated procedures at this dental clinic, but I couldn’t believe they could cause gum damage with such a simple resin filling. Another dental clinic removed the gum-pressing filling, and my gums were severely injured.

The dental assistant was also very unprofessional, and there was a lack of communication with the dentist. They left the suction in my mouth for over 5 minutes and were constantly going in and out of the room. This is something you wouldn’t expect at another dental clinic. It was a valuable lesson to learn that you get what you pay for, and I have no intention of visiting this dental clinic again.

All of this is true, and it’s something that cannot be denied by the dental clinic.

My experience with this dental clinic has been extremely disappointing. Yesterday, I was provided an incorrectly filled insurance form, which was not accepted by the insurance company. When I went to get it corrected, it turns out they had already submitted the claim to the insurance company, without my knowledge! I had absolutely not been informed of this, and the only reason I found out is because I went to correct the incorrectly filled insurance form. The clinic now owed me a substantial amount of money since they would be getting reimbursed by my insurance. They then tried to make me wait to get my reimbursement, since they had not yet received the money from the insurance, which is absolutely unacceptable since they had 100% made the mistake. Only when they realised I was extremely upset did they give me a cheque for my money.

As a patient, I rely on transparency and honesty from my healthcare providers, especially when it comes to matters as important as insurance claims. The fact that they failed to keep me informed and instead proceeded with the claim without my consent is inexcusable (especially when I might have submitted the same claim twice, which is insurance fraud).
Their lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism were unacceptable. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Truly adore this place. Have been going for approximately 3 years now and have never had any issues.
Sylvia at the front desk is wonderful, on top of her work, and truly kind and patient. She confirms appointments, is very diligent, and is a pleasure to deal with.
I absolutely loved Diane as a hygienist. She gave me the best cleaning I think I’ve ever received. She was super kind, patient, and had a strong attention to detail.
Dr. Victor Nguyen was also a wonderful dentist. He spent time going over every detail and as a patient I truly appreciated his thoroughness and patience.

This clinic truly cares about its patients. They are on top of their game and genuinely care about your oral health. I have never felt rushed, like my concerns were not valid, or that I was a burden in any way, shape, or form. They are truly the best at what they do.

The big thing as well is if you are a McGill student, most services with them are FREE!! As a student on a budget, it makes me extremely pleased that I can ensure the health of my teeth without having to spend a lot of money. It definitely takes the pressure off.
