First of all, Dre. Mojdeh Afshin is a terrible dentist. She spent 2 hours with me without doing any cleaning even though I went there for cleaning. She said i will take measurements and just spent 2 hours with measuring the length of my gums. (I have close to perfect teeth aligning by the way) Secondly, her work ethic is zero. Although Dentist Mojdeh Afshin did not do any treatment or oral examination or cleaning, she charged my insurance (desjardins and mcgill insurance), and i had to pay “the oral examination price” myself when I went to a better clinic. Also, she gave me a bill over $1500 and told me that I need to come 3 times because she cannot finish the cleaning in 1 hour or 2 hours. I went to NUO clinic to Dr. Manuel Bautista and payed $391 at a brand new and professional clinic, and got the cleaning done in 2 hours with small and large x-rays. Dr. Mojdeh asks you to bring your own large x-rays as she does not have a machine to take them :D. Spare your time and save your money, don’t buy in the “McGill label” and don’t go to her. Complete waste of time and money. Also, she does not use the suction machine and allows you to choke in your own saliva.

Let me tell you what happened to me. I was stuck in Montreal during CoVid and didn’t know where to go for dental work. I saw their sign on the street and went in. They were very ‘charming’ and ‘knowledgeable’ and did a bit of work and suggested i come back for some ‘deep cleaning’ and gave me what i thought was reasonable advice on a few things.

All seemed normal until i got the bill of well over 800CDN – the price had never been discussed. Aren’t there laws against things like this? I just vowed to never come back – i get harassed often by emails from them – don’t every get off their mailing list. there focus here is about making money – nothing else.

Oh yeah – i came back my home dentist he told me the work done was poor (and shockingly priced and the ‘advice’ was not worth the breath used to push it).

Caveat Emptor everyone.
Find somewhere else don’t be faked with the downtown address.

Dr. Mojdeh Afshin is the best doctor I have ever had!
I have been visited by so many dentists yet none of them treated me the way as Dr Afshin does. I had a phobia of dentists but now I am seeing her regularly without fear. Because each session she listens to me carefully and calmly, she speaks and explains during the procedures . I have a problem with my jaws ; they get tired quickly but doctor understands and she always gives me rests patiently!
She is awesome! I wouldn’t dare to go to any other dentists rather than her!
