I used to go here when I worked in the Sunlife building. The first few times were great, but the last time I went (roughly two years ago) I felt pretty judged. The way they acted made me feel like I had the worst plaque buildup ever. They suggested I come back in a month for a second cleaning cause it was so bad apparently. I left feeling really embarrassed. Due to some mental health issues, I’ve definitely slacked on my oral health. For a long time, I rarely flossed and would sometimes only brush my teeth once a day, so I knew my teeth weren’t great. But the way they reacted made me feel so disgusting.

I wasn’t able to see a dentist again for the last two years due to financial reasons (and honestly due to embarrassment of being judged again). But I finally went to a different dentist at another dental office today, and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. They were so understanding and said that I did have plaque, but it wasn’t that bad. He was so much nicer and didn’t make me feel judged at all. It also makes me wonder why I was recommended multiple cleanings here, but the dentist I saw today said it’s not bad at all.

Maybe I’m just too sensitive and overthinking this experience. I had great experiences before this so maybe it was just an off day, but after going elsewhere and seeing how I should be treated as a client, I don’t think I’ll ever be going back here.

I was looking for a clinic to have my tooth treated. I left 3 messages 3 of them what I liked. The guy from this clinic called me and said that they could see me on Thursday, in a week, but I refused because the situation was urgent. He asked if I needed the phone number of an urgent dental clinic, but I refused and said that I’ll go to another one and at that moment he let me know with all his voice that I’m not a client in his eyes now lol. I called back later to get the number, but he impudently told me that he didn’t have time and would call in a couple of minutes. A couple of hours later I left a message that I was still waiting, but there was no answer. Taking calls is the beginning of communication with a client, so I’m sorry, but I won’t come to you and I won’t recommend you, all the best

The staff at Oliveira Dental Clinic are all so friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my entire appointment.
Dra. Oliveira is a wonderful dentist! She is very knowledgeable, gentle, and explained everything clearly to me.
It is a very clean and modern facility. They use the latest technology and equipment.
