Addition: they called and explained that the images were low quality because they were sent to me via email and the rest was a miss-understanding. I don’t remember the exact wordings I heard during my visit but I do remember I left the clinic thinking I had to possibly fill out 4 teeth or else they can get worse. So I had to seek out a 2nd opinion (since I had no symptoms) and pay out of pocket since my insurance had already paid for the first visit at this clinic. They also told me what they needed to tell me was something that a hygienist explains and so that’s why they said they’d explain during the cleaning. But somehow the 2nd clinic explained all of that during the checkup and even showed me how to better floss my teeth.
They won’t warn you of their rising prices ($100 rise from one year to the next for just a cleaning/check up NEEDS to be told BEFOREHAND). They also try to sell some expensive things on the side with some very low scare tactic. Like your teeth are gonna be damaged if you you don’t buy a $700 (?!)mouth guard, and that you better do it now because price is gonna go up soon… (This a well known commercial trick to not make you think too long and close the deal).
Very sad completely unacceptable when it comes to healthcare in general.
