Edit: I’m super impressed. Comfort Care Dental contacted me the next business day after posting this review. They asked me if I wanted scheduled with a different hygienist present. Talk about “on it”, but I just need to be in a different office, a smaller office with fewer chairs until I find one that gets my teeth 100% every time, like my childhood dentist in Canada. It’s not easy to move away from your childhood dentist. I want a good cleaning every time, not have to luck out by getting scheduled on a good one. End edit

Unfortunately, I’ve never gotten a consistent cleaning from the hygienist. My metal retainer fell off the inside of my lower front and she didn’t even get all the plaque and cement off. Sometimes she doesn’t get all the plaque between my teeth and I have to deal with the floss catching and hope I can somehow scrub it off myself.

Dentists here are great. They take good care of you. I just never need filings

I’ve been to CCD twice now, once for routine cleaning and x-rays, and second for fillings. The office is clean and comfy (modern without feeling sterile). I wasn’t a fan of the receptionists since part of their job is to put patients at ease and build rapport. I feel they lack in warmness and approachability.
I was pleased with x ray process–quick, and thorough. I felt I’ve had more enjoyable cleanings, and this one took the longest. Mostly I didn’t like the dentist. She was rather rough in my mouth with injections, drillings, and overall interactions with my mouth. Normally one can resume eating the same day, but my mouth and teeth felt too sore to eat regularly for 2-3 days afterward, almost like I had an extraction rather than a filling. My bite still feels slightly off still, but I wont be returning to this clinic to fix it.

Terrible terrible experience!
I went there back in 2022 for a routine cleaning and they didn’t even clean my teeth!!
It was my first time at a dental office outside of the one I’d gone to for years so I just assumed it was their ‘normal routine’. After learning they cleaned my husbands normally, I realized they just forgot mine
They also charged me 100% for a filling instead of billing my insurance which covers 90%. The same filling that fell out a year later. Will not be going back. I had to fly home to Virginia to my normal dentist because I do not trust dental care in Idaho any longer.
