Reviews:
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Came in this morning during emergency walk-in hours with a raging gum infection. I have a history with them and know proper treatment that works for ME. Antibiotic and steroid pack. It’s an infection, not that complicated. I’ve needed this same course of treatment 3x over the last 5 years. I know what works. Dentist confirmed infection then refused an antibiotic and even more so refused the steroid. Instead, I was sent home with a prescription for a medicated mouth rinse meant for gingivitis! Insane. At the pharmacy filling the prescription for the rinse I chatted with the pharmacist who proceeded to tell me (as I already suspected) that this mouth rinse isn’t going to do anything to get rid of an infection. I thankfully, soon after, got a call from another dentist that was able to get me in this afternoon after having a cancellation in their schedule. I went in as if I was never seen this morning and didn’t mention the diagnosis/treatment CHP gave. They again confirmed bad infection and immediately prescribed an antibiotic. Hallelujah. I then asked for the steroid knowing it will get rid of the inflammation and excruciating pain. They agreed it was a good idea knowing my history. Only after the appointment did I tell them of my experience with CHP and they were BLOWN away by being sent home with only a mouth rinse for an INFECTION. Never again.
Dr. Anderson, his dental assistant, and the staff are excellent. What struck me, apart from Dr. Anderson’s friendly demeanor, was his attentiveness. We went through the x-rays together. He patiently answered a bunch of questions. His dental assistant was full of positive reinforcement while my brain sweated from ionizing radiation. The woman who helped me at the front desk was amazing. She fixed a scheduling error, helped me with new patient paper work, and exuded a Zen calm.

Yes — as other reviews point out, in order to schedule an appointment you must call on Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. As of 10/18, this office is scheduling eight new patients each week. Appointments for three weeks out. Although better odds than the lottery, it takes a bit of effort to be seen here. As in, pick up a phone. Call at this time. On this day.

I have had the absolute worst experience trying to get an appointmet here. The first time I called, they told me that they only take new patient calls on Tuesday mornings. So I called back on a Tuesday at around 9:30. They then told me that the week they were scheduling for was completely booked up and I should call back next Tuesday as close to 8:00 as possible. So I called them a third time, on Tuesday, at 8:00. Nobody answered the phone, so I called again. Same thing. I called for over half an hour straight and nobody bothered to answer the phone at all. I finally left a message, but I don’t expect to hear back from them.
