Rung for an emergency appointment as cracked and lost a significant size filling that was causing me serious discomfort. They advised me I haven’t been there since 2018 therefore I am no longer a patient of theirs, if I wanted to re-register then I would need to do so through a consultation with the earliest available being June!
For someone who’s been going there since my first tooth (albeit different owners in this time) I find it absolutely disgusting that there was no attempt or offer of help apart from giving me the emergency dentist number (“but they will only see you if you are in severe pain”) and wait untill June for an appointment. Needless to say I will now be going to another dentist to treat me hopefully for the other 37 years of my life! This level of patient care, especially such a long standing patient, would’ve never happened under Mrs Mitha.
Also need to add: No communication from the surgery in this time to advise I am being struck off as a patient!

Had an appointment at 1.30pm with the hygienist. Arrived at 1.30pm the doors were still closed for lunch, when they were supposed to open back up for lunch at 1.30pm. I had to wait outside until they’d finished their lunch (it’s cold – mid February) for them to open the doors. Your patients should not be made to wait outside when they are on time for their appointment and paying PS40 for the privilege!
I wonder if I were late for my appointment whether you would honour it, or try to charge me extra for not being on time, or make me rebook my appointment?
On another note, the hygienist was extremely professional. The receptionist could also do with a course in customer service.
Called in April to see if they were taking on NHS patients, received a call in May to make an appointment for October. Couldn’t complain due to current situation etc. Received a call two weeks before appointment stating that they have to cancel due to over subscribing new NHS patients, in the meantime whilst waiting for this appointment I cancelled enquiries with another dentist only to be left out in the cold with Crown Hill Dental Surgery because they’ve got their maths wrong. The surgery obviously eager enough to get private customers in.
