Still waiting in the manager to contact me about my complaint.

Original appointment was booked for the 3rd May, this was cancelled due to my dentist leaving the practice, new appointment could only be booked in on the 5th July, this was the start date for the new dentist.

During June I broke a tooth and called to move my appointment to the 28th June, so I can get it fixed. Reception team moved my appointment but didn’t change the appointment type to a service so the practice tried calling me again to cancel my appointment. When I explained to the lady what happened and my call to the practice she apologise that the practice had made an error. Asked for the manager to call me as I want to make a formal complaint. No manager called.

Attending appointment on the 28th June – 4 people on reception 3 was talking between themselves about pay and one lady on the phone. I was only person in practice. When I was checked by the dentist on shift only lasted 10min, only filled in the broken tooth but no check up on other teeth or anything.

Practice has drastically declined and gone down hill, clearly poor management. I have been with this practice for a number of years just a shame it’s gone down hill.

I’m disappointed to see the actual premises run down. wall paper torn off walls, heading guards off the wall, chairs inadequate thought mine was going to break. It’s not the image portrayed before covid. The actual treatment rooms were good but first impressions count. If you can’t keep reception in a goof state what else is slipping!

I have been at practice for a number of years. This was the first visit with my new dentist. Very impersonal approach with the questions started before I had sat in the chair. My 15 minute check up lasted less than 5 minutes with no feedback on the health hygiene of my teeth and mouth. I didn’t feel valued as an patient.
