From the moment I walked in to the Custom House, I felt the owners of this address had understood the importance of keeping true to this historic landmark. I can understand why the friendly staff would be happy to come to work each day; very welcoming & calming atmosphere.
Dean is friendly and very professional, and kept me informed through every step of my procedure. One of the most gentle dentists I have ever been to.
The surgery itself is very modern with up to date equipment, and the surgery chair, well, you need to experience that comfort yourself!

I would love to give a 10 star rating to Dean and his team. I was holding back tears when I called the practice as the previous dentist I used had left me terrified of ever going again. Thankfully his receptionist Kirralee was so warm that I went ahead and made an appointment. Dean was amazingly gentle throughout the procedure and made me feel confident about my dental health. The care I’ve received from Dean has been outstanding and I booked my next appointment before I left. The on-site parking made the visit easy and the Customs House is just beautiful. I have been seeing Dean for over 5 years now. I saw Dean when he was on the Sunshine Coast, now I travel to Mackay every 6 months for my routine checkup. He’s the best dentist I’ve been to. Normally, I’m terrified of going to the dentist due to past experiences, but I feel so comfortable with Dean that I am willing to travel the distance to see him. I feel like he really cares about me personally. The new location in Mackay Customs House is beautiful!
