The longer story: The crown filling was successfully replaced, however the dentist who carried out the operation had difficulty taking out whathever they put in between teeth, but finally managed to pull out. In the evening, after the effect of the anaesthetic was gone I noticed my tooth was loose. I was supposed not to eat for the day and keep my mouth clean. After I noticed my tooth became loose I kept my mouth clean and did not eat hard food for few days, also keept on using the mouth was I was told to use by the dentist. Finally the loose tooth became firm, but then pus started coming out of my gum. In result I was told it is coincidence, and has nothing to do with them. I was asked if I wanted to make another appointment to get the channel treatment that costs 1200zl, I refused and I left. No medicine prescribed.

Dear sir, I think what we have here is a little trust issue.
– I did not have any trust issue before I visited, however then I experienced more of a clinic-client relation than clinic-patient relation. For that reason I refused further treatment and left the clinic. Here is not issue of a little trust, but no trust.
Almost everything you said is correct. And it really might have looked like this from your perspective. Although all the treatment was performed according to highest standards of care situations like this can happen.
– Everything I wrote was the real events that took place without any opinion. Now I will write my opinion in return of your response. It is not how it looked from my perspective but physical feeling of how hard the dentist tried to pull out something that was put between my teeth during operation, and it was not done diligently that resulted in a loose tooth. I think you are quite underestimating the situation here. I could have raised my voice there and I had every right to do so after such poor treatment and approach to my health. On the contrary, there was nothing high with the standard of care.
The filling that you had done in our office in the crown of the tooth has little to do with a root canal treatement that you had done on the same tooth a decade ago in some other country.
– This is exactly what I am talking about, how come I visit your clinic to get my teeth checked for a pain that I felt once and a while before my visit, which I had no clue where it was originated, and ended up having my root channel infected with pus weeping.
And the treatment of this pus coming out of your root to your gum (which is indeed close to the place anaesthesia is put, so you could have an impression that it is the same spot) is root canal retreatment. No pills can cure that. After all we hope that you found suitable treatment in some other dental office and you are happy about the results.
– I learnt my lesson that I should choose clinics where the dentist is the owner of the clinic and present at the clinic dealing with the patients instead of clinics where dentists work hourly and you don’t get to see the dentist who performed the treatment but another dentist in case of a complaint. Besides, I will be asking hygiene related questions and asking for assurance before hand in case of an infection occurs after my visit.
The dentist set to work straight away and worked for 5.5hrs only taking a 10 min break for himself to have his lunch .
He carried out the work I required and for all the work he carried out I.e root canal treatment, building up the tooth , reparing the tooth next to it and putting in a filling .
A huge amount of work and very professional for a fraction of the price in Ireland.
This work in Ireland was quoted as 1200 euro .
I have 4 days in this beautiful city
Hotel cost 140 euro for a four star apartment ( I mean it’s top class )
Flights from Dublin return for myself and my wife 180 euro
Meals are about 40euro a day maximum . ( eating out ) cheaper if you cook in apartment .
Dental work for myself EUR 600 for a total of 8hrs work . That’s a lot of work .
My wife’s cost 450euro for a load of work for her .
So if your coming to Wroclaw to get you dental work done , look no further than Dens , 5 laciarska, Wroclaw.
Have a holiday , get your dental work done and see the sights , cheaper than a visit to your Irish dentist .
Believe me I’m from mullingar . Email them and go .
Such a positive experience , and yes they can all speak English, so you don’t have to learn polish if you dont want to .
