Reviews:
At Dental Defenders for Children, kids are meant to build trust with the doctor on their own, while parents are left unaware of the procedures happening in the back. It can be challenging as all you know is that your children under 11 are receiving the promised treatment, and you’re expected to trust the process!
.That is the only downfall from the dental office which I was not aware of until one of my children was already in the back getting work done, and my 11-year-old needed a little more support and I was not allowed back there as it is their policy. It’s important for parents to ask plenty of questions since they are not allowed back there. This way, you can stay informed about the process and ensure that you are comfortable with the care your child is receiving. Communication is key in such situations to address any concerns or uncertainties you may have. My appointment was also at 3 arrived at 3:02 walk out at 5:30 for two patients with 3 cavity fillings and cleaning.
My 11 year came out upset because he was not asked if he wanted the nitro gas on him and he says he prob wouldn’t had need of it didn’t hurt him. Even tho i did explain to him it was safe for him and since he had anxiety on the side effects from the gas he was not ok he didn’t give consent.
The staff was friendly and explained treatment clearly. My son normally complains about going to the dentist, but after changing over to Dental Defenders, he’s more than happy to return. With his previous dentist, he was used to his mouth hurting after a cleaning. But his new dentist was very careful and considerate, so he didn’t experience the usual pain. He even got a dino toy pack at the end, which is a cherry on top of a great visit.
Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience and definitely plan on referring friends and family here.
Great job to the owner of this establishment and great job ladies!
