Reviews:
! The staff was incredibly friendly kind and Very informative , they have a bilingual team which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and inviting, and the waiting area felt like an arcade for the children. It’s definitely a dental office designed with kids in mind. It is definitely a friendly environment and again staff was super kind and so was the doctor . However, even if your child is experiencing some anxiety, they won’t allow parents to accompany them in the back. Instead, they reassure that if the child doesn’t cooperate, they will promptly return them to you. It’s a practice to be aware of, especially if your child may need additional support during their visit

At Dental Defenders for Children, kids are meant to build trust with the doctor on their own, while parents are left unaware of the procedures happening in the back. It can be challenging as all you know is that your children under 11 are receiving the promised treatment, and you’re expected to trust the process!
.That is the only downfall from the dental office which I was not aware of until one of my children was already in the back getting work done, and my 11-year-old needed a little more support and I was not allowed back there as it is their policy. It’s important for parents to ask plenty of questions since they are not allowed back there. This way, you can stay informed about the process and ensure that you are comfortable with the care your child is receiving. Communication is key in such situations to address any concerns or uncertainties you may have. My appointment was also at 3 arrived at 3:02 walk out at 5:30 for two patients with 3 cavity fillings and cleaning.

My 11 year came out upset because he was not asked if he wanted the nitro gas on him and he says he prob wouldn’t had need of it didn’t hurt him. Even tho i did explain to him it was safe for him and since he had anxiety on the side effects from the gas he was not ok he didn’t give consent.

Appointment was on 1/20. Freeplay arcade racing games, comfortable sofas, 2 large TVs, and a Playstation in the corner. Great taste in movies in the waiting room and music in the backrooms. I think there was a bit of a wait, but I didn’t even notice. My son and I had plenty to do while we waited. The waiting room was a little small, so I can see it getting crowded, but at 11am, it was only me and 2 other families, so that wasn’t a problem.

The staff was friendly and explained treatment clearly. My son normally complains about going to the dentist, but after changing over to Dental Defenders, he’s more than happy to return. With his previous dentist, he was used to his mouth hurting after a cleaning. But his new dentist was very careful and considerate, so he didn’t experience the usual pain. He even got a dino toy pack at the end, which is a cherry on top of a great visit.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience and definitely plan on referring friends and family here.

Being new to Dallas, I needed a great dental clinic to visit to start back my yearly teeth cleaning routine. Being that the city is HUGE, I became restless at trying to figure out which clinic would be close to home and has great reviews. A friend of mine referred me to Dental Defenders and just within the two visits that I’ve had, everything from the treatment plans to the price and over all customer service, has been STELLAR. The office itself is kid and adult friendly and who doesn’t love MARVEL characters and video games?! It’s a beautiful experience, the staff are welcoming and personable. I look forward to future visits here.
Great job to the owner of this establishment and great job ladies!
