I found this dental studio when I first moved to Christchurch in 2022. My husband and I are both happy clients, but I particularly want to emphasise that since Dr Sally Woods joined in the last year, the service is truly exceptional. Sally is not only an excellent dentist, but brings a lot of warmth and calm which I value as a patient. I feel the service is truly personal and caring.
The practice itself is situated in a beautiful building with the most relaxing ambience I’ve come across in any dental practice (I’ve lived in 7 countries and been to quite a few dentists, many of whom were in windowless offices). For example, the view of the studio looks out to the River Avon and while you are in the dentist’s chair there is a TV screen on the ceiling with a relaxing slideshow of nature images. These are details that make a huge difference to my visits/treatments, I can actually feel relaxed and I appreciate that a lot.
I can highly recommend Dr Sally Woods for your dental needs.
Having an online booking system is great as it makes booking for appointments easy especially for a nurse like me with different rostered shifts.
Dr Sally Woods is gentle, caring, compassionate and does a thorough oral health check. I have recommended her to friends and families who are in need of great dentistry treatment. She also fitted me a new mouthguard for the hockey season and explained the process thoroughly during the fitting. It was a great fit and no hassle service.
I also had a dental hygienist appointment with Vanessa last Wednesday. Highly recommended. She was nice, compassion and very gentle. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and will go back in 6 months time for another clean.
Honestly the best dental experience I have ever had. The dental staff are great, really friendly, and very thorough. I was very well informed every step of the way. And their prices are very reasonable. $290 for a tooth extraction which included the x-ray, tooth extraction, and 2x 15min followup appointments. Couldn’t be happier. Will definitely be making this my regular dentist
