Hands down the best dental office in San Diego! I called this office to schedule an apppintment after trying multiple other locations that just weren’t the best fit for me. The office manager, Elsie, was so nice and found the soonest available appointment and got my insurance benefits verified quickly. From beginning to end the process was seamless. The dental assistant, Ale, did a great job with my x-rays. It was a quick and easy process and she was great to chat with. Dr. Chilmeran took the time to go over my necessary treatments and really explain everything. We came up with a great plan to get my dental work completed and decided to start with my deep cleaning and then move on from there. Jillian, the hygienist, was so sweet and checked on my frequently during the cleaning to make sure I wasn’t uncomfortable. I’m looking forward to completing the rest of my treatments and this will definitely be my permanent home for dentistry. Thanks team!

I have gone to dentists in CA, NC, NYC, and abroad in Italy and in Mexico, and the Dentists of Mission Valley is by far the best experience I have ever had. My Dr. Sarah Chilmeran was outstanding, she made me feel heard and cared for, acknowledged every concern and question with extensive knowledge and expertise. My Hygienist Jillian was remarkable, numbed my gums with 4 injections and made the whole process comfortable and pain free, she consistently checked up on me with careful attention to physical and emotional detail. Their kind assistant Daisy took my xrays seamlessly and their receptionist Alex was so patient and helpful breaking down all the services paired with what my insurance covers. A professional team and sweetheart team members. It truly felt like a luxury spa day at the dentist. I would happily be a patient here for life.

The doctor literally made me felt like she was more concerned about how to make money out of me than to treat me with care. She tried to sell me a 200 dollar saliva test. Never been to a dental office that asks for this. Seriously? Came in for a cleaning and wanted to do a deep cleaning for 2300 dollars. I didn’t need it. She doesn’t know that she was a third opinion on something totally unrelated to this. It’s sad how dental offices like these make it hard for people to trust dentists. I had a bad feeling right when I was checking in and the front desk lady asked for my health insurance card lol. Listening to the dentist was as if listening to a non caring sales person literally trying to sell you things or add ons that you don’t need. Would never come back and honestly would never recommend this place to anyone.
