Reviews:
I found their Staff cordial and professional. But read carefully other reviews and take note that many reviews make glowing statements but add the disclaimer know your insurance and be watchful because they upsell. This was my experience. As a newly arrived resident to the High Desert I was looking for honesty and not THE UPSELL. As a retired senior with a fixed income I don’t have extra money to spare. When I went there I basically only wanted to have a crown re-cemented and check them out. I was looking for a dentist near my new address. I was sold things that were not necessity. To top everything off the crown that they re-cemented came off again and when I tried to get in for emergency visit to take care of it before I travel I was unable to get an appointment. This is despite the fact that they oversold me several treatment that could have waited that I will be paying off for quite sometimes. What they got was quite a bit of my emergency savings. I went in looking for caring and honest, not what I got even though I got lots of smiles with pleasant greetings. I would much rather my clinician listen to my needs and respect the boundaries of what I ask for. I won’t be returning because what I am feeling is HAD. I have no trouble with loyalty when I am viewed as a valued patient and not just dollars. In the future I WILL pay closer attention to what my insurance covers and I will decline more pricey services that are not a necessity. I am however stuck with paying off a bill for more pricey services which could have been covered more effectively with what my insurance covered. Yes I found the staff friendly and professional but I need to know, when I spend my money some place my clinician will care, listen to my need and not UPSELL. Sorry you lost me I won’t be back.
If you read this BE ADVISED if you choose this Dentist you are on your own. know exactly what your insurance will cover and watch out for the upsell. I was GOT.
this is a ok dentist as long as they dont mess up. They screwed u my mouth so bd my new dentist gave me a discount cus they felt bad. the densist refunded my my money because they messed up my mouth and put me in so much pain. my first crown had holes in it, the old white medical asisistant cant do much right, then another one was made…broke, then they put singles on. Why wasnt that done the first time? azucena is overly nice to make up for older lady linda, she yells at andrea and makes her cry, ive been therenand it ws so awkward. katie…you can barley to understand her speech, i dont know if she is drinking at work or hs a lisp…she can be extremely rude but if shes fed she is nice. theyre not very educated. i was treated like a drug addict because i am allergic to codiene and they tried teling me hydrocodone was the same. its not. and the dr nappaly or whatever her name is has no business being near the public. she can only provide dental care you would find in third world counties, that isnt what we should recieve in america.
I’m always waiting over an hour over my scheduled time. They push X-rays every vist and tell you always need a deep clean that’s cost hundreds of dollars every time something needs to be done. They always don’t have the material your insurance requires and push some other material that insurance doesn’t cover. My husband got an infection after work that was done and they didn’t even want to give him the antibiotics. Every time I go they quote my thousands of dollars for work “I need” to get done. I don’t think they really are there for patient care. Is about how much they can over charge and get money. It’s horrible .
